The best body oil must have the best ingredients.

The best body oil must have the best ingredients.

Your Royal Highness only gets one chance to make a first impression!

Skincare has always been one of my passions, as is self-care in general. I like to look good for myself and want to look and smell good for the ladies. Nothing but the best will do when it comes to my temple, especially my Royal Highness, aka my Private Parts. Since I try to keep chemicals, preservatives, and additives out of my food, what makes you think I would treat my skin any differently? In particular, your genital area, booty crack, and face. Those super-sensitive areas should NEVER come into contact with any chemicals or toxic ingredients.  The ingredients in any body oil should nurture the areas to which they’re applied, and not aggravate, irritate, or actually destroy it.

This takes us to the topic of infused oils. My love for exotic body oils and potent herbs naturally progressed into my curiosity in how to combine them, aka as infused oils. I mean why let a good thing go to waste? Aren’t you putting on body oil already, why not make sure it’s infused with all the good stuff and harness all the health and therapeutic benefits that come with infused oils? So, infused oils it is and there are some out there, maybe not exactly infused with the herbs I want, but nonetheless, they exist. But the ones that exist just say “Ashwagandha-infused oil”. So that is what it’s supposed to mean, and does that even mean anything unless accompanied by numbers?

What it takes to make the best body oil

To answer this, let’s look at 3 factors:

  • Infused material: What is the body oil infused with?
  • Infusion rate: How much material was used for infusion
  • Infusion method: How was it infused?

What is the best body oil infused with?

Is the body oil infused with dried whole plant, powdered, or extract? The potency of the infusion is partly determined by these factors and should be mentioned.

BITTERADE Bitter Oil only uses plant extract powders for maximum effect.

What’s the Infusion-rate How much raw plant material was used for infusion?

Anybody can claim their body oil is infused. Let’s face it, a teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder to a half gallon of carrier oil is enough for most manufacturers to claim infused oil. That is why when you look at the label, it will not state the infusion rate. The infusion rate refers to how much material weight to the weight of carrier oil. It also will not state the method of infusion because it could expose the product’s quality.

Bitter Oil has an unrivaled infusion rate of 10%+. Only at that rate and above are infused oils classified as potent. The average infusion rate in the body oil industry is so low and insignificant that they don’t even mention it.

How the best body oil is infused. Method matters.

You’ve probably seen the DIY videos on YouTube giving you full instructions on how to infuse oils in 20 minutes. Soak the plant material for 5 minutes, heat for 10, and cool for another 5, and voilà, infused oil!

Now, that makes for a cool TikTok but sadly is not only the method of wellness “experts” who practice self-care for clicks online but also the industry standard. Heat, or sometimes even worse chemical infusion is the industry norm which prioritizes production speed and profits over quality. Yes, you can infuse oils with heat or chemicals but you destroy half of the material and degrade the quality of the oil in the same process.. So, not only is the oil not really infused, but the oil itself is now lower quality than it was before you started the “infusion” process.

Bitter Oil is the best body oil because it is only infused by cold method away from sunlight in a vacuum for 45 days just like they did 2000 years ago, and just as it is scientifically proven today to be the only true way to infuse oils. Good things take time.
