Hi my friend, welcome to my little company. Some might recognize me from the Los Angeles art scene and wonder why I don’t use my last name. It is for the simple reason that I want to keep my 2 businesses separate and my search results on the internet in order. For BITTERADE I use my first and middle name and for my artwork it’s my last name.

I created BITTERADE in January of 2024 just from a simple concept idea which came to me just like any other idea for a painting would cross my mind. Even though the idea came out of nowhere, my love, obsession and believe in the simple concept that “Sugar kills & Bitter heals” were the driving force in creating BITTERADE. Bitterade, everybody needs some Bitter Aid. During my recovery from a misguided lifestyle 10 years ago, I started incorporating more and more bitter vegetables, plant extracts and root powders to my shakes and never turned back to a sugary lifestyle. As my diet improved, my overall care for my body and skin did as well. So, I came up with this idea of bringing the same bitter compounds that helped me internally, to my temple externally as well. And I figured let me just go to the store and buy an herb infused body oil. But to make a long story short, it is almost impossible to find a truly infused body oil anywhere. I found out that less than 2% are truly infused for at least 30 days as required, let alone 45 days as was done in traditional macerations. Most are just mixed with a few drops of extracts and labeled “infused”. So, I did what I had to do and created it myself, the very best and only 45 days traditionally, cold infused body oil with an infusion rate of 10%+, and her name shall be Bitter Oil Skin Elixir. Even though I’m an artist and not a scientist, the benefits of traditionally infused oils have been proven and documented for thousands of years and after using it daily since I created it, I must say that Bitter Oil Skin Elixir is the best oil you can put on your face.
