Depression, how to beat it naturally & permanently.

How to help someone with depression

Even though I am not a professional, I have been bullied as a child, and have been through maximum depression and hard drug abuse. And, though I am still far from perfect I have practiced different ways of self-care and physical training to get me out of those situations and become a more confident and happier person. You or whoever needs a few suggestions on how to deal with depression can find a lot of useful information in this blog. I will be updating this site regularly with self-care tips written by myself and others.

The only honest cure for depression

You know what trips me out? The endless barrage of antidepressant medication TV commercials. Whenever I see one, it makes my day hearing the side effects to some footage of a couple dancing in a park with a beautiful song in the background. And the couple is dancing away while the narrator is trying to fit in all the side effects talking faster than Ben Shapiro smh. And let’s not forget that the side effects always include suicidal thoughts and the possibility of death lol! So let me get this straight. The medication advertised brings on exactly what we’re trying to avoid. Unbelievable, right? Actually, this a perfect example illustrating 1 of 2 things that you need to do that I know will get you out of depression. One is knowing the truth and the other is practicing proper self-care and mastering the pull-up.

Knowing the truth

It is important for any person to know and accept the truth even if uncomfortable to avoid depression. A lot of stuff that goes on in our world is not normal and you must be able to differentiate the nonsense from what’s real to keep a clear head and thought.  This is a very tough thing to do because a lot of things we were taught our entire lives are wrong and shouldn’t be the way they’re supposed to be. And you need to figure out what is what.
The thing is, your true self and your heart know right from wrong.  The person that was formed by the Matrix doesn’t most of the time. He/She gets their “rights” and “wrongs” from the man-made Matrix, but there are truths in this universe that supersed those rules and you must understand them in order to not fall into depression.

Self-care

And to not even get caught up in the craziness, confusion, and untruths, unplug as much as you can from the Matrix, and practice proper self-care. Everything you want to know about proper self-care you can practice is all over this blog. Self-care is what “Bitter Taste, Sweet Life is all about.”

Pull-ups

Pull yourself up out of this dark hole of depression.

Another exercise that perfectly imitates life. We have the push-up, which imitates the initial movement when you have fallen and you’re down. The Burbee, “It’s not how many times you fall, it’s how many times you get back up!” And the pull-up, when you’re in a hole and you need to pull yourself up and out of, and doesn’t that what depression feels like?

Sometimes, the solution is right there in your face, in your own interpretation of how you feel and you don’t see it.  The only way out of a hole is by reaching to the edge of the hole and pulling yourself up. “But it’s only how I feel in my mind, that doesn’t make sense and I can’t do any pull-ups?”.
Even though I’m more athletic than the average person, 2 years ago I wasn’t able to do a single pull-up but it was something I wanted to be able to do. After 3 months I was able to do my first clean fully extended pull-up, now pull-ups are just part of my regular workout routine.
Depression can be worse than just stress or having bouts with unhappiness, it can lead to extreme outcomes and therefore I suggest the pull-up which is one of the harder things to master.

But any workout will help you with your depression, it does not have to be pull-ups, I just know from my own struggles with drug addiction and depression that sometimes it takes extreme measures to get extreme results especially when your life depends on it.

How can I deal with depression if I can't workout?

And if you cannot work out for health reasons or other issues, then there are other methods of dealing with depression on a physical level, and many suggestions are found throughout this blog. I really know that everything that I write about will make you a better and more complete person and I will keep updating this blog with more positivity to make this whole planet a better place.
