greed

Greed, why there is a time & place for it.

greed

There is a time and place for everything, even exess.

The time for being greedy is when it comes to your self-care and own well-being. Workout, meditate, listen to some music, or read a book. Be greedy with the time for your own self. I wouldn’t even call it greed, I would call it maxing out your temple and spirit that lives within. I can’t really speak for everyone but I feel that excessive greed for things, money & power do not go hand in hand with developing a strong & peaceful spirit, on the contrary, it might stop you from living a life filled with authentic love & Happiness.

The addiction exeption

You know what’s always been funny to me as a former drug addict? When someone does too much Cocaine then we call him a cokehead, too much alcohol equals the alcoholic, sexaholic, pothead…and he/she needs to get help ASAP, but if someone can’t get enough money and power then we call him successful smdh. Make that make sense to me, please.

Greed is not ambition

In my opinion, ambition is simply a person having an honest vision and that person is very focused on achieving their goal.
Greed is the urge to get something at any cost no matter if you have to break rules, morals, and decency. You tell me which one of those fits better into a healthy society.

Billionaire worship

There is this thing going on that when you criticize greed, you’re somehow jealous or a hater smh. I criticize greed because in my eyes it’s an addiction/mental illness as I explained in the paragraph above. Freedom and happiness mean different things to different people, but deep down we all have the urge to find authentic happiness and to live our lives the way we wish to. In my eyes, being a billionaire wouldn’t be freedom, it would be the opposite. I pass on not being able to go anywhere without security, let alone experiencing true happiness and the love I get from my fellow regular humans. I have real freedom, I can go anywhere without bodyguards, and I don’t have to mingle with artificial people giving me fake smiles and admiration all day, I am absolutely not interested. As a matter of fact I would pay to NOT have to have lunch with any billionaire.

But the main reason why I wouldn’t want to be out of control rich is because it doesn’t make any sense to me. How can you be at peace mentally and spiritually knowing you have so much money you couldn’t spend in 1000 years while there are people starving? That does not make any sense to me at all. It’s impossible to have true peace inside your heart when your happiness depends on the admiration and praise of a bunch of lost sheep who think becoming a billionaire will make you happy, so they bow down to you wherever you go. That is not happiness, that is pathetic behavior on both sides, the sheep and the shepherd. They don’t need praise, they need some serious mental health help.

In conclusion, I would like to make it clear that there is nothing wrong with having nice things in life and being able to get them through hard work and a dream. I would love to have a beautiful house in Malibu, a ski cabin somewhere, a nice little boat, and 3 cars, but I don’t need it to be happy. And, I definitely do not need 1000 mansions, 10000 Rolls Royces, 10 private jets, and 30 yachts.

And if. that is what you need, then you need serious help.

We need a GA, Greed Anonymous

Look guys, we can’t have that. Are we playing Monopoly now? Where the goal is for 1 person to win it all? Is that what we’re doing, really?! And then what? The whole world supposed to be on their knees and be in awe and worship the winner?
We all know, that’s not gonna work, so why do it and cheer it on? We need to get them some serious help and if you’re defending this then you need to go to GA meetings as well.
