What is Ocean grounding?
It’s a term that I just made up, thinking about things I do to keep me well and happy. I’m sure I’m not the inventor of that term but it’s the best way to release negative energy and here is what I do. First off, a natural water environment is necessary for this. I’m in Southern California and I like to take long rides down the bike paths that line our beaches.Whenever I reach my destination, I park my bike, take off my shoes, and walk to the edge of the beach right where the water breaks and meets the beach.
What used to be just a cool-off for my feet before my bike back, turned into another full-blown part of my self-care routine with standing meditation and deep breathing, visualization, and everything. The coming in of the wave, embracing your feet, soaking and pulling out all the negative build-up energies of the Matrix and making them dilute in the vast Ocean. And while the wave takes away your bad vibes, you can feel the power of being grounded onto the moist sand and earth recharging your body with clean and pure energy. Go try if you can, it’ll get your endorphins going and will make you feel great.
