Why steamroom & sauna are must if you care for your well-being
It’s not an accident that our ancestors no matter what corner of the earth they’re from, had sweat lodges or tents for healing purposes. I mean, why do you think your body sweats out an infection in the first place? It’s a way of ridding the body of toxins and unwanted materials from your temple, and the sauna or the steam room is in a way a preemptive clearing of toxins for better and consistent health.
Drain your body of toxic stress and anxiety
The negative energies of the Matrix are settling inside your body whether you like it or not. The stresses of Groundhog Day in the Matrix, overdue bills, or any other buzzkill life has to offer in a society run by greed and corruption are definitely built up inside each one of us, and sweating is a way to rid yourself of those energies.
Exercise, until you sweat, is obviously one way, but steam rooms and sauna are another way.
Steamroom & sauna, the natural depression remedy
Routinely visiting a steam room or sauna will help you with depression in the long run. Not only does it relieve immediate stresses and anxieties but also deeper long-term depression. It took many depressing events to fall into this deep depression and it will take many happy events to get you out. And every visit to the steam room will have you leave the facility with a smile on your face. Make it permanent by making a steam room routine also permanent.
Stay flexible without even trying
The heat in both the sauna and steam room naturally relaxes all your muscles and tendons to their maximum flexibility. Add a few stretches while you’re in there and increase your flexibility a little bit more every time you visit.
Most of the focus in fitness is on stressing the muscles for gains, neglecting flexibility, relaxation, and plenty of pampering which your muscles deserve equally.
And let’s not forget that the more flexible the muscle is, the bigger it is and the more gains are possible to achieve.
Skin detox for glowing skin
We all wash our skin on a topical level by wiping unwanted stuff off the top layer. But our body is not one single surface but a porous web of skin which sometimes needs cleaning from the inside out to unplug all the pores covering your body. And that is where sweating has to come in because it’s the only way for the body to push the dirt and toxins out. That process lets your pores breathe freely again herewith giving your skin that new and refreshed glow. Replenish your skin afterward with a nurturing body oil.
Sleep like a baby
Having relieved your body of toxins and old matter, relaxes your whole entire system which results in decreased cortisol levels and higher immune response, leading to better and deeper sleep. And knowing that you did another good thing for your body adds that extra smile on your face before you go nite nite.
